I heard Jean Houston recount how when she was in Africa she saw a village look at its problem with sanitation by coming together as a community and singing and dancing until the solution appeared.
To our Western mind that would seem to be a ridiculous way to handle the situation, but how often when we have been struggling with a problem or been looking for our keys does the solution, or the set of keys, suddenly appear when we were distracted from the mental searching.
What is happening with the villagers is they are opening the problem up to a greater knowing. They are allowing their minds to relax so they can tap into the Knowing Field, a place of collective knowledge.
In a Constellation circle we are the village. The village formed of our higher selves, our ancestors and more. We metaphorically sing and dance and open up the problem or situation to what is beyond our individual knowing until a solution appears or at least until there is an opening in the soul and in the psyche for the creation of a new picture.
