I was in a conversation with a friend of mine who asked me about my recent experiences at the U.S. Constellation Intensive. I told her how amazing it is to see someone who had been struggling with something in their current life situation or with a lifelong burden of some sort go through the Constellation process and to see the shift in them, to see them visibly appear brighter.
I have always been interested in images of pathways and found that I often took pictures of them in my travels. The image of a pathway seemed a good way to explain what I was seeing with people who are drawn to a Constellation workshop.
At our birth we were set down at the beginning of a path that is our life’s journey.
For some the path starts out or begins to feel like it is a dense jungle with every step difficult and progress slow.
Perhaps the path is clear and smooth yet it is being walked while dragging a heavy burden.
The dense jungle may be a series of mistaken beliefs or family stories that are like vines obscuring the path. The burden may be taking on a role in your family that does not belong to you or feeling that you cannot find your place in life.
Through the Constellation process we find a way to clear the path or release the burden.
A life’s path curves and dips so we really can see only so far but isn’t it better to walk it with a light step?
