Today, February second, is Imbolc. While many are still in the darkest and coldest time of the year it is a symbol of the successful passing of winter. It also symbolized the movement of the Goddess energy from Crone to Maiden.
We feel the passing of the seasons within us, in that deep place that never lost its connection to all of life and the turning of the wheel of the year.
I invite you to go into that place where the wise one, the Crone, the Sage lives inside you and anchor into it and from there see the new life within you coming forth. It may be creative ventures, the opening of the heart or seeing the world around you with fresh eyes.
Look to the wise ones of the forest, the trees, and see how each year from deep within their being they awaken, allowing the new to come into being and reach for the sun.
